1. Scope and current status
This notice describes the SideFact pre-launch website and waitlist. The iPhone application is still in development. Its final audio-processing, data-retention, and service-provider details will be documented and reviewed before public release.
2. Information the website collects
If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address plus practical attribution such as the landing path, referral code, campaign parameters, and which product emphasis you viewed. We record Founding 200 eligibility, founder number and offer version where applicable. After signup, you may optionally tell us whether Live Facts, Conversation Insight, or both most interest you and whether you want to be considered for a TestFlight beta. We also record limited anonymous events—such as page views, CTA clicks, demo views, FAQ opens, and funnel completions—to understand whether the product is clearly explained.
We do not fingerprint visitors, sell browsing profiles, or request microphone access on this website.
3. Why the information is used
Waitlist information is used to preserve founder-offer eligibility, manage early-access and beta interest, select potential TestFlight participants, send relevant product and launch updates, measure campaign and referral performance, and improve how SideFact is presented. A “yes” beta preference does not guarantee selection. The appropriate legal bases and jurisdiction-specific disclosures require founder/counsel confirmation.
4. Cookies and local storage
The website uses a small first-party visitor identifier for aggregate conversion measurement, referral attribution, and a secure administrator session cookie. Campaign attribution may also be retained in local storage. No third-party advertising or surveillance SDK is installed.
5. Conversation and audio data
SideFact listening occurs only during sessions a user deliberately starts. The product is designed to minimize unnecessary conversation and audio retention. The exact production pipeline may involve cloud processing; final categories, service providers, storage locations, retention periods, and deletion controls are [to be confirmed before app launch].
6. Sharing and service providers
Website data is stored on SideFact-controlled hosting. Any infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, or app-processing vendors and associated international-transfer terms are [to be listed after founder review]. Personal information is not sold as part of this pre-launch website.
7. Retention and security
Waitlist records are retained while early-access communication remains relevant or until deletion is requested, subject to a final retention schedule [to be set]. Access is restricted to an authenticated administrator, the database is outside the public web root, and backups use restricted filesystem permissions. No system is perfectly secure.
8. Your choices and rights

9. Children
